It's a publicaly traded company. They put those in there to try to keep from being sued in case things don't go as planned financially.

Same here.

Started with Red Hat 4.2 in July 1997, if I remember correctly. Went to using Linux (first Red Hat, then Fedora; now Debian) full time in late 1999.

Haven't looked back.
