the IVR Breakout is not functioning. of course i made a "breakout IVR" with a message, but the breakout IVR message does not play in the queue? i though that maybe the new queue callback module might be inteferring so i disabled that but no luck. any ideas?

It does work. Here is what I have for my IVR Breakout on the queue: The IVR plays the periodic "We apologize for the delay. You can press one to leave a message or simply continue to hold. We appreciate your patience." announcement you record to place in the breakout IVR.

This is the breakout IVR which plays the announcement:

@KNERD perhaps your callback module is somehow interfering with queue announcements and IVR breakout announcements. Joe Diamond says it worked until he tested your module. He has checked his config against mine. I do not have your module installed.

WOW. I just updated three FreePBX modules on my system. It was framework, voicemail and one other. After this update my IVR breakout announcements no longer work either. Apparently, this is yet another FreePBX fubar.

This is framework version 17.0.33.2 that I just updated to.

In fact, all custom announcements no longer work with the queue except position in queue. It thinks the announcements do not exist:
Code:
 Executing [292@ext-queues:44] ExecIf("PJSIP/BulkVS-0000000d", "1?Playback(silence/1&custom/QueueHold&silence/2, )") in new stack
    -- <PJSIP/BulkVS-0000000d> Playing 'silence/1.g722' (language 'en')

WOW, Kenn!! good catch! so there really is a BUG! i have the same version framework! how do we fix this??????? somebody wake ward out of bed!!!! LOL

@KNERD More details. This is probably related to the queue callback module rather than the framework. My custom announcements were moved to the /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/custom.bak and the original custom directory was linked to the queue callback sounds. I removed the queue callback module, deleted the custom directory symbolic link, recreated the custom directory and copied the files from the custom.bak to custom. Queue recordings and IVR breakout work again.

It is likely that when I deleted the queue callback module, it wiped out whatever the original settings were for the custom announcements and left an empty custom directory.

WOOOO H, great, i know how to uninstall the queue callback module, but not how to do the rest of the things you mentioned. and we need to tell knerd this too! that his module is causing the issue.

how do i do this.....................deleted the custom directory symbolic link, recreated the custom directory and copied the files from the custom.bak to custom.

It has to be done at the Linux command prompt..

First, make sure you have a custom.bak file with your announcements in it:
CSS:
cd /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/custom.bak
ls

If you see your announcement files there then you're good to copy them to the correct directory:
Code:
cd /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en
rm -rf custom
mkdir custom
cp ./custom.bak/* ./custom/
chown -r asterisk:asterisk custom

kenn................cd /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/custom.bak no such file exists????

BUT in the cd /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/ directory, there it seems are all the recordings.

i uninstalled the callback module, maybe i should delete the queue and make a new one?

Does QueueHold.g722 exist? Does QueueHold in any format exist? Those are Asterisk warnings, they are there because it cannot find /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/custom/QueueHold.g722

The only way this could be a FreePBX issue is if the upload didn't happen right. Just updating the modules you did would have no impact on this unless one of them was System Recordings, Queues or IVR. Or perhaps a third party module that messed with /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/custom

Does QueueHold.g722 exist? Does QueueHold in any format exist?
They all existed but when the callback module was installed, it created a custom.bak directory and moved all custom recordings there. Then a symbolic link was made between the custom directory and the queue callback recordings directory.

Apparently, when the queue callback module was deleted, the symbolic link remained but the original custom recordings were still in the custom.bak directory. In my case, removing the custom directory, recreating it, and copying the announcements back to the custom directory fixed the issue.

If @Joe Diamond CPA does not have a custom.bak directory, he has likely lost all his custom announcements.

Look around in the sounds directory and see if your custom queue recordings are somewhere in there. I don't think deleting the queue will fix the issue since this is a case of the recordings not being where they are supposed to be. Its possible you will need to rerecord your queue announcements and reselect them on your queue.
