Aastra 6757i

I have 10 6757i's and everybody loves em, However the only complaint seems to be how the phone mutes the other person as the user is talking or makes noise.... I think it happens alot with mouth breathers and desk tappers.... anybody have any advice on this? I have not seen any settings to adjust or disable this feature, nor do I know exactly what its called to look it up.

Try adding this to your mac.cfg

headset tx gain: -3
headset sidetone gain: -2
handset tx gain: -6
handset sidetone gain: -5
handsfree tx gain: 0

Reboot your phone and see if it helps.

Also you may want to disable sip silence suppression.

You can also add the info to the prf files that are located in /var/www/html/aastra/asterisk.
