I have my PBX set up and I can place calls just fine. I have set up an incoming route for any did, any cid set to ring to a ring group. The pbx does not answering the incoming calls. I also tried setting it up to ring to the IVR with no success. Anyone have any ideas about this? All help is appreciated.

Do I need something in the incoming settings section of my trunk?

Hi Mike,
Who are you using for your inbound calls? Is it the regular phone company or a VoIP provider?

The tip of the day...

I'd undo all your ring groups and any other customizations and get basic call routing to work first. Once it's working, then setup the ring groups.

Can you see in the reports tab if the system somehow saw the call?
Is there any way for you to see on your providers end if the call is in your call log (should be available if using SIP trunks)?.
This can also be a firewall issue between you and the provider, where incoming is blocked, do you have the proper ports set up in NAT?

Thanks to all for your suggestions. Please excuse my tardiness in replying, but I was out of town for a few days. As it turns out, I am an idiot. From my provider, voip.ms, I copied the configuration example for Asterisk, not for freefbx/pbxinaflash. So I was trying to use the wrong context, etc. I've learned a lot about other things through all the experts here. Keep up the good work. Also, FYI ... voip.ms customer service is excellent!!

I agree about the customer service from Voip.ms
They are very responsive on their chat app.
