US National Telecom Inc. (USNT), the owner of Vitelity, tanked hard in heavier than usual trading on Friday, February 26th. The stock opened at $.12 and closed at $.07 for a change of -53.33%. This is off of a twelve month high of $1.01. The stock is thinly traded.

Hmm.

This got me thinking. And when that happens, it is dangerous!

I have 3 numbers with Vitelity and like them. However, if they go under (damn me for not using the lines more!) can someone recommend someone else to use? These numbers are vital and I am curious how I would get them ported out as well.

This is the time to buy Vitelity stock. A small move and you make big profits. Buy low, sell high!

blanchae- Never try to catch a falling dagger. It's still falling and is currently trading at 1.7 cents.

Ward, Google Finance has the market cap at 86k. Feel like making a play for Vitelity?

Is the trading symbol USNL.PK?

What is up with their website, 404 error.

If it's accurate that Vitelity is private now and not tied to the fiscal health of USNT, someone should inform the financial sites to update US National Telecom's vitals. This misunderstanding is causing confusion and negative PR.

I see my post got removed that was quoting the CEO. I received another email from him this morning saying there was some involvement prior to him coming on board and to direct any other questions to the legal dept.

?????

I saw your post quoting the CEO yesterday. Is there a reason this was censored? If it was incorrect info the mods could have edited and countered the info right there.

:eek::eek::eek:

I don't know why they removed it. Posting a qoute from the CEO is not in violation. I guess they have their reasons.

We were advised by Vitelity that the quote was inaccurate. We obviously don't want anyone misled. I expect we'll hear from Vitelity on the matter shortly. And, yes, Vitelity has been a huge supporter of the PBX in a Flash project. Without their generosity, you'd probably all be using trixbox. :yikes:

Thanks for the clarification.

It's your boards to monitor and run, but it would have been alot easier if a mod edited the post directly stating that the information has been declared inaccurate from Vitelity itself. When posts start disappearing on public forums conspiracy theories come out of everywhere, and since Vitelity is a supporter of the project that gives more rise to the wild theories.

My only concern for Vitelity was because I use their services for my own systems and will probably be migrating more customers to their service in the coming months. They've been a great provider so far, and I'm hoping that things will stay that way! ;)

Thanks Ward for clearing this up.

As to Vitelity, I too have many customers on their service and don't have any plans to jump ship. Their service has been fantastic and very dependable.

I think that we just would like to know about the condition of the company so that we don't get stuck scrambling for new service with the unlikely event of the company closing. There are already too many rumors and speculation going on.

I took a flyer and bought 20K shares in my IRA - order was filled at 2 cents/share, so the cost was minimal. If this turns around, it will be a pleasant surprise.

Check this out (better do it fast, their domain expires tomorrow!):

http://www.usnationaltelecom.com/

They effectively claim that they never owned Vitelity. Whatever connection or ambitions they had with telecom is no longer, and they are a company with interests in real estate based in Miami Florida.

If accurate: good for Vitelity, bad for dswartz :smile5:

well, my total investment was like $400, so...

True indeed, and I hope it turns out well in any case. I rode a company called Lucent down to the bottom in 2000 with losses that I figure has added three years to my retirement age.

I must also admit that Nortel hasn't been quite the sound investment either... lesson of the day: only put in what you're willing to loose :(

well, this is 1/3 of one percent of that particular account so i am not that worried :)
