Looks like $99 for second 160GB drive gets you hardware-RAID 1 out of the box. DVD Drive: add $49. Additional 2GB RAM: add $80.

In the UK, these are currently on offer for £134.88 (ex VAT) after £100 cashback.

HERE

Anyone built a PIAF/Asterisk box out of one yet? Only issue that springs to mind is the expansion slots look like they're half height. And they're PCI-E.

Think I would have preferred an Intel chip, but does that matter much nowadays?

I installed one two weeks ago, nice little server for small systems, there is four sata bays access from the front using a key top right.

I GB RAM with a 160GB SATA drive and supports RAID

the expansions are 1 half-height, half-length PCIe x16 Gen 2 1 half-height, half-length PCIe x1 Gen 2

Sorry for the late reply

I have two of the N36L's and have 3 landlines to connect to the Incredible PBX.
Any suggestion for getting the landlines working with it with a gateway? Any suggestion for the pci slot? Which do you think is the better solution.

These have £100 cashback on them again, making them a steal for a small system. If my maths is right, you can pick it up for an effective £87.49 ex VAT (after the cashback). Oh, and you can get up to a further 3% cashback via Quidco too.

For cards, you need half length, half height PCI-E. I've just picked up a 2nd user Sangoma A200DE which fingers crossed will do the trick. I'll then have a backup/development system for not very much money at all.

Anyone know if there's a network card driver in the current build of PIAF? It's an HP NC107i (BCM5723 chipset) apparently.
