PIAF 1.7.5.6 RC1 Available for Testing

Have a change log?

Sure just look in the following areas

http://mirrors.kernel.org/centos/5.6/updates/i386/RPMS/

http://mirrors.kernel.org/centos/5.6/updates/x86_64/RPMS/

they contain all of the changes that have been done to the ISO.

In other words NO there is no changelog for updates to the cd at the moment. There is no difference between the beta and the rc1 other than the boot screen has had the beta moniker removed.

The final release next week will be different again as there was a ton of uploads last night to our local CentOS repo.

Our changelog generally tracks changes to our programs and not centos which is tracked on the website above

Enjoy

Is there enough difference between RC1 and the beta from last week to warrant a reinstall?

Lorne
At the moment the only difference is the boot screen no longer says beta.

You will want to reinstall with the final release as it will have a couple of changes to our programs but nothing significant more of a housekeeping change.

FreePBX images on all builds now have been updated to FreePBX 2.8.1.4 with CallerID Superfecta and Endpoint Manager preinstalled.

NOTE: Be sure to run passwd-master after new installs to set your FreePBX password, or you won't get in now. It's probably a good idea to run it again on every box you have just to be sure there are no default passwords lying around. :aureola:

Just went to download the ISO and saw this:

Bandwidth Limit Exceeded

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.

Is there another site to download the RC1 ISO from?

I suspect this should be addressed in the freepbx forums as it does not seem to be present in our current base installs which have freepbx 2.8.x installed.

This is their problem which seems to occur only in the 2.9 build tree. Of course I stand to be corrected if it is present in the 2.8 freepbx tree.
