Just be the first to figure out how to simulate the Resume button on a regular phone so that Google Voice second calls can be processed using a single extension with PIAF and Incredible PBX. This basically is the old Flash feature of Ma Bell with Call Waiting so that you can switch between calls on a single handset.

Here's Tom Keating's article for more details on the enhancement.

Ward,

Are you talking about the hook-flash?

I'm quoting http://www.chris-mcandrew.co.uk/BasicTelecomCourse/3m_antel.htm:

To create a 'break' you can either just momentarily press the handset switch hook down and release it - you have to be careful, too quick and the exchange won't see it; too long and you'll disconnect the call! This is sometimes known as 'Switch hook Flash'. A better method is to have a dedicated button on the phone (Recall or R) that puts a timed break (usually of 100ms) onto the line. This way it doesn't matter how long you hold the button down for, it always works. This is known as Time Break Recall or Calibrated Flash. Good quality analogue phones have switches underneath to let you set Time Break Recall and sometimes Loop Dialling or MF (DTMF) dialling.

Is this what you're looking for?

OR you could have a phone with two lines and have the 2nd call go to the same phone's second line. No changes required in Incredible PBX.

Congratulations!

ezekielmudd wins the prize. Correct answer is Google Voice calling now works just like Call Waiting in the Ma Bell days. Hit the switchhook when the second incoming call arrives, and it will place the original caller on hold. Hit the switchhook again to switch back to the original caller. ezekielmudd please send me your mailing address and the email address you used to sign up for the PIAF Forum. We'll get the thumb drive on its way to you.
