I had the same problem earlier today. I closed IE and switched to Chrome and now it works.

As a security precaution, all new PIAF Forum registrations first go into banned mode. Not to worry, we will get you set up within a few hours/days/weeks depending upon workload.
FWIW: The spammer registrations run about 10 to 1 with the good guys. So it is A LOT OF WORK to sort out the wheat from the chaff and keep the forum safe and spam-free. If you want to hasten your registration, use a real name and an email address with your Internet provider rather than hotmail, yahoo, etc. Sending us an email with your forum name doesn't hurt either.

There are a few vBulletin mods that can assist with keeping the spammers out.

Thats not it I've been a member for awhile. I was logged in also. If I'm on another computer and not logged in and I hit new thread or Post reply it shows the ban message. Why it showed when I logged in is a mystery. Somehow the session got interrupted.
The message needs changed or a line added to say you need to login or relogin.
