Hi Everyone,

I am NEWBIE!! to pbxiaf and I am trying to provision a yealink 18p. Unfortunately I tried to add support for any yealink phone and it is unable to download the provisioning package from provisioner.net. I will try to create a new phone family but it seems easier and safer if I could get the appropriate tgz files.

Thanks,

Alex

What version of Endpoint Manager are you using? You should try using the newer version which isn't in piaf.

How would you go about creating a new phone family? huh?

Thanks for replying.

I have been trying to figure that out as well. I downloaded the package from github and I can see the xml's for the different phone families. I can also set up the xml for a new family of phones. Unfortunately I don't know where to place or import that xml. How do I find out what version of the endpoint manager I am running?

Sorry I went back and checked, I am running PBX End Point Manager 2.9.2.9.

Ok,
I think I got it. If i can't find the tgz package i have to create it myself. Modify the brand.xml to include the t1x family. Create the folder and all the appropriate files. Tar the yealink folder. TGZ the tar file and then install.

Is this correct?
