I have a fresh PIAF Green no trunks. This is a test system I am trying to simulate Skinny voice packets with.

PIAF Installed Version => 2.0.6.5
FreePBX Version => 2.11.0.18
Asterisk => 11.7.0

SETUP:
I have downloaded the source for Chan_Sccp-b compiled and installed fine.
I enabled realtime database and added the tables so I could use SCCP Manager module along with all? of the configuration files to get mySql realtime DB working with PIAF.

I can create SCCP phones and extensions that result in a SEP<MAC>.cnf.xml file getting created in my t*f*t*p directory. However, except for the servers IP address appears to be default values. Like language is Spanish but should be English.

I have installed some XLite softphones to test the system initially and they can talk fine.
I installed VTGO Lite by IPblue softphone since it is the only softphone I can find that does Skinny.

OBSERVATIONS:
IPblue registers with PIAF and gets its SEP file. It also fails to grab another file that it want some VTGO file but there is no documentation on that. Might be looking for a dialplan?

PROBLEMS:
IPblue only calls the hotline (111) so I made one of the xlite phones 111 and it will ring and the call can be answered. I think my configuration SEP files are just not right even though they are generated for me.

There is no audio but if I put wireshark on the line I see that audio from IPblue is sent to my PIAF server but doe not get anywhere.

After placing the call with the IPblue the phone displays a network error but does not disconnect the call and PIAF seg faults exit status 139. Cannot find anymore help in log files except maybe chan_sccp.so exit 4?

Xlite(SIP) cannot call IPblue(Skinny)

QUESTION:
I think the problem is in my PIAF configurations. I have missed something since no one else appears to have this problem. I have tried looking at log files but have not found the correct one to look at.

Does anyone have any insight what I might be doing wrong? Any tips or suggestions what the problem could be. Tutorial for connecting IPBlue to PIAF? I am having trouble finding any help on configuring IPblue to work with PBX in general. Everything is PBX with hardware phones or IPBlue with cisco call manager.

What is that one configuration file I missed? :-)

Suggestions for log file configurations or log file locations I can look at.

What I am doing should be doable. I do not have any hardware phones I just need to generate some Skinny traffic.

IPBlue isn't setup as a device in either sccp-manager, or chan-sccp-b. From reading the faq, it looks like it emulates a 7940, 7960, or 7970. Which device template did you try to use? And finally, what mac address are you using in sccp-manager for the ipblue softphone. According to their faq, you need to use the mac address of the PC.

I used the 7960 type. And I used the mac on the card used to connect to PIAF. Phone registers and downloads its SEP file but does not get setup right in PIAF somehow since it only can call the helpline. From what I understand this is default behavior when the phone does not register correctly. Calling the help line rings the SIP phone setup to the help line extension 111 but there is no audio. However, if I capture the packets with wireshark I hear the audio sent from IPBlue to PIAF.

I have been using the sccp manager module that uses the Realtime DB but I am going to retry with only using file configuration to see if that works any better.

It looks like those modules aren't compatible with the new versions of chan-sccp-b. I would try using the config files first, and then try to get the realtime db working.
