PBX in a Flash Version =1.7.5.5
FreePBX Version = 2.8.1.3 │
Running Asterisk Version = Asterisk 1.8.3.2
Aastra Script 2.3
Softphone Ekiga
SipPhone AAstra 6730

Earlier Asterisk 1.8 I could Transfer. Now I can't.
If extension to extension the ## gets the female announcement 'Transfer' but no parking lot number.
Regular calls nothing happens with the ##
the AAstra Phone Transfer Key just places call on hold.

What version should I use if I want a reliable transfer to occur?
Thanks everyone.

I have had some problems with the transfer of call when i first when to asterisk 1.8. As my system is pretty simular to yours i better check that the upgrade to 1.8.3.2 had not broken it.

All three methods of transfer are working fine. That is ## *2 and the aastra key(which is an attended transfer). So i have to assume that 1.8.2.3 has not broken it on my ststem

I guess I must be dense or optimistic, or does that mean I can't use Google-voice transfers reliably on the same system?

Since google voice doesn't support the way Asterisk connects anyways I would never consider google-voice 'reliable'.

EG I'd never use it for professional trunks.

I have no problem running bleeding edge beta code for myself.
I will select one of the other colors for the customer who probably wants to do transfers. I appreciate this process.
And all of you.
