So my Asterisk server is running on an old 400 Mhz computer, and today I had 16 callers in a conference (using IPKall) and surprising the audio was very good still!
I was pumping out over 1000 kilo bits per second.
I also had all put one phone muted, so I am sure that helped, but I am still very surprised that a computer that OLD can still handle that much.
