I'm in the process of migrating us from a 32-bit install on a stand alone server onto a 64bit VMWare ESXi server. I've seen some of the threads on setting up PiaF in a VM environment, but they seem to be geared toward a 32bit load. The new environment is a PiaF 1.4 with Asterisk 1.6 and of course CentOS 64 bit. Any words of wisdom on the best way of setting this up? Can i just use the kernel tweaks described in some of the forum threads or do I need to actually hunt the 64bit CentOS tweaked kernel for a 64bit version?

32-bit PIAF is the recommended ISO even on 64-bit ESXi.

Thanks for the reply, Ward. Thankfully I haven't gotten too far down the install road before seeing your post. I'll pull the reigns and then start with a fresh 32-bit load. Actually, we are getting ready to fire up ESXi 4.0 on the server, so I may wait until then to begin the process.
