a way to pause when recording

I used to install a lot of macrovoice voicemail systems and you could press the # key to pause and then another key to continue your recordings. This is very useful when you have to record long voicemail greetings and IVR's. It's nice to be able to pause and take a breath then resume where you ended. Nothing worse than almost finishing a long greeting and messing up at the end and having to start over from the beginning.

Thats one on my wish list.

That's maybe a good suggestion to take over to the FreePBX Forum.

You do not have to record direct into the the PBX, you can record onto your PC then upload the recording - which will give you the pause facility. - but you probably know that.
