Hi all,
I just posted this in the TB Aastra forum, but I thought I'd give everyone a crack at it here.
I just added a 480i to my system, and noticed something about offhook detection. When I go offhook with the handset, it takes the phone up to three seconds to recognize the event and provide dialtone. Even when the call is already active on speakerphone and I pick up the handset to talk, there is a three second delay before the speaker cuts off and the call is heard in the handset.
My 9133i phones don't exhibit this behavior.
My hope is that this is a simple parameter I've overlooked. Here's two parameters from my config that may have something to do with it:
audio mode: 0
sip digit timeout: 3 # set the inter-digit timeout in seconds
I have looked at the phone's local configuration file, and there is nothing there other than volume settings and upgrade info, so there is no local settings overriding my config file.
Also, I have live dialpad turned off, but that setting didn't make a difference when I turned it on.
