Hello PIAF Community,
I was exporting the telephonenumbers from Lotus Notes to CSV so i am able to use it with the contacts application on the Aastra 57i with the PIAF scripts 2.2.0.
The problem I have is that the numbers that were entered are not to the E.164 standard.
Instead everyone used his own format.
For example:
The E.164 should look like this --> + 1 703 707 0700
Users put --> [1]-(703)-7070700
or --> 43-7755-6215 Ext 18
We are in the process of changing the numbers to E.164 but this will take some time.
I am looking for a solution so either asterisk or any 3rd party application would know how this numbers have to be interpreted.
Is it possible to dial a phonenumber including the extension?
Maybe so that Asterisk would wait until pickup and then dials the extension immediately?
Can anyone give me some tips?
