Aastra 9133i vs 9143i

What are, if any, the real advantages to purchasing the 9143i version over the 9133i ?? I have many 9133i phones in use and they are fantastic. Should I start using the newer 9143i phones?

With the 9143i you get xml capabilities as well as upgraded CPU and flash. Unfortunately, the consensus is that the speakerphone was a downgrade. Just not as good as the 9133i. Though it's a non-issue if the primary use is off-hook dialing with limited speakerphone use.

The particular job I am quoting now uses the hands free page feature alot. I mean, alot. They hardly ever use speakerphone to talk to an outside caller, but icom/page from one phone to another is extensive. Probably stick with the 9133i for this job huh?

To be honest, I don't own the 9143i. The speakerphone complaints I've read/heard are secondhand- but there are enough of them to confirm that it's an issue. Which is too bad, because in all other respects, it's an improvement over the 9133i.

I do have experience with the 9133i though. What a great utility phone. And if xml won't be an important feature for the job, I'd stick with the 9133i.
