Maybe it's not the phone that's the problem, but the fact that you're running a version of Asterisk that Aastra doesn't support yet?

If you want stability, don't go with bleeding edge software and expect good results.

call tranfer

i'm not talking about xml i am using some basic function like call tranfer and blind tranfer and the are you said that aastra doesnt support those?

These are basic function and not xml scripting at all.

Have you read this thread?

Asterisk 1.8
NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE Asterisk 1.8

:beta1b::dotsb::beta1b:

Be advised that the PIAF Dev Team classifies PIAF-Purple and Asterisk 1.8 as E-X-P-E-R-I-M-E-N-T-A-L. Remember the Pioneers! If you have a low threshold for pain, if you depend upon your PBX to actually make and receive phone calls, or if you understand the WAF and prefer sleeping with both eyes closed, abort this install now and choose PIAF-Gold, PIAF-Silver, or PIAF-Bronze. Otherwise, enjoy the ride!

are you saiding that i need to apply the patch even if iam running 1.8.1.1 asterisk?

No! He is saying that Asterisk 1.8 in PiaF is experimental and that there are likely many problems.

If you are not experimenting and you want everything to work as expected, then you should use Asterisk 1.6.
