I'm looking for a wireless handset and I also need to replace my Digium TDM400... I hate going back to analog, but I'm stuck with an Internet/voip that enforce the use of their ATA (similar to Vonage).

I was considering the SNOM M3 and the SPA3102 until i notice the MBU 400. Anyone has used it? Comments are greatly appreciated :smile5:

Thanks

FYI, the Aastra DECT is the best out there.

I have the M3 - it's not bad, but the speakerphone isn't as good as many (it's not duplex - see some of the other threads around for more 411 on that).

Is it worth the extra $40? I guess that depends on how much you plan on using it. Honestly I don't use my M3 as much as I would probably otherwise... my wife doesn't like it at all which says something about the WAF of the M3 as well.

This is the impression I had about the aastra. I would love to buy the 57i, but I cant justify the cost to myself and most likely to my wife...

If the MBU 400 is as good and piaf friendly as the 57i wireless handset, this will be my choice. But I'm suprise that I cant find any info about the MBU 400 in the forum wich make me wonder if I should stick with a phone I can get support here.

Thanks

Not many people use DECT phones unless you have a reason for them - they are very versatile, however.

Personally I've never set one up w/PIAF. But, you could certainly deploy a number of DECT devices all over the house (or neighborhood!) and have coverage for... well, a while anyway. Heh.
