Aastra SIP Terminal Issues

We have many Aastra handsets on our system and other system's we have around other customers. All the Aastra handsets have had major issues this afternoon with the screen saying intermitantly saying 'no service' then coming back online. Other handsets and softphones which we have connected are fine and have had no issues.

Is anyone else having the same issues? Is it something to do with Aastra themselves?
 
Check your DNS server. Aastra phones will loose there connection if they cannot reach the dns server. Best to have on on your local net or even the PBX machine that they phones point to.
 
We checked the DNS Server but we have about 4 independent machines running aastra phones and they all had the same issues?
