All Dahdi Channels active once lines are connected

I would love to uninstall it, or re-install and manually configure Dahdi, but I am only likely to break it further, which I just can't afford to do.

My best move forward at this point either involves a re-install on a 2nd hard drive, or a some confirmation that the above guide (or a better one) will get me through the Dahdi re-install..?
