Anyone able to help with DISA?

Hello,

we are a non-profit international K-12 school located in Austria, and have been using PiAF for our PBX for the past year.

We are just in the process of signing a cell phone contract for our staff which will provide 1100 minutes/month to Austrian landlines, permitting free calling to our PBX.

We would like to offer our staff cheap calls to the US by setting up DISA for them, in this fashion:

Each user will have his/her own extension for DISA, restricted to accepting calls from their specific cell phone, and also requiring a 4-digit PIN.

When they make a call, caller id should be set to their cell phone number so return calls go straight to their cell rather than through our PBX.

The idea is to use Joe Roper's PiAF termination service so there should be no difficulty with setting the CID appropriately.

Can anyone help me set this up?

You would be best doing this with A2Billing. There is an install script for 1.3.4, which will suffice, and good instructions in the post entitled, adventure in A2Billing.

That is exactly what I did. Set up A2Billing follow some instructions on this site. And your in business.

Well, I will be installing A2Billing when I set up our new PiAF server (on Proxmox).

In the meantime, in order to not disturb a production system, I have set it up by creating a Custom Context that has access only to a single outbound route using Fonicatec, then creating a DISA config and an Inbound Route for each user.

Works pretty well, and was quick and easy to set up (easier than I thought when I posed the question )

Each DISA config is tied to the user's cell phone number and also protected with a PIN.

I still have to find a way to block calls to non-US/CDN cellphones or else route these through a cheaper provider.
