I have about 25 if them running all over the place. Used to run tb 2.X but with all of the problems and the sudden appearance of the call home thingy my clients insisted it get taken off forth with.

Smallest one has 5 extensions and the largest has about 100 extensions.

One of the reasons I write the scripts is I use them in my own production machines. All machines are either a gigabyte intel based motherboard (no longer available) or supermicro server boards. All have at least 2 gigs of ram and minimum of 80 gb drives * all pata for the moment *

I only have used Digium stuff as I got a deal buying in bulk when I started doing pbx's Mostly TDM 400 and 2400's all with various levels of VOIP trunks. Some PRI also. The bulk of my clients all had existing POTS lines so it was really a no brainer to get those running. I run cold spares on all of them (Identical hardware) when I did the switch over from tb to piaf I simply used the cold machine - installed piaf - and hand restored some of the configs and the database and then did the switch. Kept the old tb box around for a few weeks to make sure no glitches occurred and eventually scrubbed them. I use my own daily and weekly backup scripts on all the systems. I have trained the local techie types to do the restores if required and how to switch all the plugs. Which so far has never happened. I keep a couple of machines at the office to overnight if need be. I also keep copies of backups (daily and weekly) on my local server in the office.

All of the piaf boxes have an internal 8 - 16 gbs flash drives which I write a copy of the daily and weekly whole disk backup to. I like multiple redundancies. I know why don't you use RAID etc etc....... Just cuz!

I am using PBXiaF for my small law office. I started with A@H and on to TB 2.2 and now PBXiaF. My system runs on a Shuttle SFF system with Celeron 2.0/512 mb RAM and a digium tdm400 with 2 fxo, 2 incoming PSTN lines and 5 or 6 voip lines for rollover, 800 service etc. 4 local extensions, 3 remote office extensions and various laptop, cell phone extensions. I also use AstAssistant for call monitoring and recording and Outcall for Caller ID notification. PBXiaF server now runs hamachi so all communications except for the sip/iax are done over the VPN. Everyone who sees my system wants one but I don't know of anyone in the area who sells them.

I have 3

I currently have 3 running now and a 4th going in this week.
I am not doing any PRI as of yet but will be soon. I have one at home which I run 2 small business on. One in my main office (I am a telco equipment and services provider in Nashville, TN) and one for a med size client 25 extensions.
All are very pleased with the results thus far.

Thanks a lot to every single one. I have a customer who wants to get in the Voip world. Has a Dell PowerEdge (don't know the specs yet) + a TE420. I am planning on setting up PIAF for him ...
