PIAF 2.0.6.2
Freepbx 2.8.1.4
Asterisk 1.8.8.0
CentOS 6.2

Is anyone running into problems with on-demand recordings not showing in the ARI? Calls are being recorded as i can see them in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor.

Also, if i set the recording to ALWAYS, they will show just fine in the call monitor in ARI.

I have another server PIAF 1.7.5.7 and Asterisk 1.8.7.2 and the recordings are showing just fine.

Anybody can help me out to get this fixed? I should have checked that this was working before doing all the programming for this new server.

the ARI has always been a pain in the butt. You might look at freepbx forums as the guy who wrote it is sometimes over there. I seem to remember something in the last few months that if you upgraded to fpbx 2.9 this problem went away but just cant remember for sure.

I just tested a bit more. what i found was that:

- incoming calls will be recorded fine and the links will be in ARI

- outgoing calls will be recorded fine but the links are not shown in ARI

I'm not sure why this is happening. I have now have 2 servers running the same specs and this is reproducible.

Good investigation. Please post over on the freepbx forums as you may get an answer quicker.

If you get a response please let us know so if it is a problem in our distro it can be fixed.

Updating this again.

I made the decision to just ALWAYS record all calls to the box.

I thought this would just be easier but now there is a new problem. Calls that are picked up from the parking lot are not being recorded....:banghead:

Does anyone have any input on why this is happening?
