There's a critical update for the Snom 710. I have 65 of them at the office. I'm running PIAF 20650. I am not using Endpoint Manager but I do provision all them with XML files.
I have the following xml files
1. general_custom.xml
2. mac_firmware.xml which looks like this
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<firmware-settings>
<firmware perm=""></firmware>
</firmware-settings>
3. dialplan.xml
4.firmware.xml which looks like this but the phones don't seep to see it.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<firmware-settings>
<firmware_status perm="">http://downloads.snom.com/fw/snom710-8.7.5.13-SIP-r.bin</firmware_status>
</phone-settings>
</settings>
Also do I need a mac_firmware for each phone or can I just use the firmware.xml for all phones?
Any guidance is appreciated.
Thank you
