Hello -- I've installed the latest Incredible PBX and it is working fine except for asteridex. I've followed the instructions for setting up asteridex but whenever I access one of the shortcuts (American airlines, for example), I get the message "all circuits are busy..." If I dual the 800 number directly, it goes through just fine.

I've gone through and looked at extensions_additional.conf and my OUT_1 is "SIP/vitel-outbound" and my OUT_2 is "IAX2/PIAF-USA". The instructions are "Look at the Global variables OUT_1, OUT_2, etc. Identify the numbers of the ones for the VoIP providers you want to use for placing outbound calls. Then close the extensions_additional.conf file." I don't see any numbers for OUT_1 or OUT_2.

I apologize for asking a stupid question, but I don't understand what I'm missing.
Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks,
Don

Finally figured it out...

OK... After more fiddling I finally figured it out. I misunderstood the instructions. In the following lines, I needed to leave the text dialout-trunk, but just change the 2 that followed it.

exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,3,Macro(dialout-trunk,2,${EXTEN},)
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,4,Macro(dialout-trunk,3,${EXTEN},)

The 2 is replaced by the number that corresponds to the outbound trunk. I had been replacing the words "dialout-trunk" with a number, instead I just needed to change the number that followed the words "dialout-trunk"

Thanks! :smile5:

Thanks for posting your solution. I'm sure that you are not the first and won't be the last doing this. But the next guy will know!

**NEVERMIND** -> I fixed it. I used Webmin file manager to look into /etc/asterisk and saw the extensions_additional.conf (don't know why it doesn't show in Config Edit). Got the info I needed and then edited extensions_custom.conf from within Webmin. All is good!

**ORIGINAL POST**
I've also installed the latest Incredible PBX (Purple) and have the same problem as the OP had and I'm trying to fix it. However, in 'FreePBX --> Setup --> Config Edit' I do not find extensions_additional.conf in the list of conf files. Has its contents been moved to some other conf file?

Thanks,
Michael
