Asus motherboards

Kia Ora,

I am having problems with the latest PIF on 2 asus motherboards - basicall it installs fine except for the NIC not being seen by the OS. Both have a sata HD and same memory. XP installs on both no problem. Is there a way to install the correct drivers for these boards using commands from the CLI ? Sorry my linux isn't great........
I googled one of the motherboards and found on a forum that it is the one supposedly used by the TB appliance.
In the interim I have installed PIF on my old compaq SFF test box and it works great. I will do my best to contribute more cash as I can.

Is it not seeing the NIC or the Hard drive? See this thread for SATA issues:

cvschleich, thanks for your reply. The SATA disk and CDROM are all fine, but no lights are on the NIC and asterisk doesn't see eth0 for some reason I'm wondering if it is an asterisk thing or a centos issue.
The motherboard came with linux drivers but I don't know how to load them from the CDROM

What's the model of the motherboard? I'll see if I can help you figure out what driver should be loading.....
