TIPS Avantfax messing up with dialplan

I'm running a fresh install of 13-12 on RentPBX. I installed incrediblefax and a remote extension.

I have flowroute as the provider. Calls work.

I have two outbound routes. One sets the callerid to the 'voice line' and is set as a priority route.
The second has a prefix of 8 (otherwise identical) and goes to the FaxOut route which sets the callerid to the fax #.

If I fax from the AvantFax webpage using the standard dialing (18005551212) the fax is sent. If I use the prefix so that the callerid is set to the fax # (ie 818005551212) AvantFax responds that the number was busy.

Is this some new behavior, or is this a bug? I can post logs, but presently my CLI shows lots of 'no matching endpoint' warnings for an extension which I have already deleted (figuring out all the new issues moving from Green/Purple installs where I knew my way around).

I don't know if you got this working but this is how I've always done it.

Change your outbound route to match the caller id that Hylafax sends. It is +00000000001 thru +00000000004 (one for each modem)

Also, set your local or long distance pattern if you want.

This has always worked for me. Hope this helps.

Jake,

Thanks; just seeing this today. In prior versions Green/Purple/Etc. I've just used the prefix of 8 (I'm using it now on my current local system).
It's definitely a change from prior versions.

I'll try out your change and see if the recipient gets the right callerid from their fax.

Thanks again.
