Backup PIAF 1.4 restore Incredible PBX for Asterisk 1.8

I am running PIAF/1.4...IF i do a complete backup and restore to the newest version of Incredible PBX for Asterisk 1.8, will it work?

Won't work at all unless you first get FreePBX on your old system upgraded from 2.6 to 2.7 to 2.8. Then it should be fine although you would lose all of the new Incredible PBX settings that have been incorporated into FreePBX 2.8.

What then is the easiest way to get all the extensions, customs scripts and recordings (greetings, etc.,) from the old box to the new? Or should i just for go IPBX and stay with what im at?

Or...should i go with one of the other versions...Gold, Silver, or Bronze?

If the current version is meeting your needs, I'd stay put.

Thanks Ward...Guess i have one more easy question...I notice on the newest version of PIAF you can type status and it shows you which version of PIAF you are running, however i have an older version and when i type status it doesnt show me the version, how do i determine which version im running?
