So I updated to freepbx 12 and then tried to run a backup of old freepbx buuuut that was a bad idea. Asterisk is still running but I am not to familiar with linux, I can follow directions but thats about it. I think the freepbx files are all screwed up from the 2 versions. I know I know......
So I setup another server on another machine and its ready to go, but I need to get the backup off the old machine and run it on the new one. I put in a usb flash drive, some stuff popped up in ui, I then googled some stuff on how to view the files but failed. I have no idea how to get the backup off the hd. I need to keep it up because it is still running and working actually.
I found one set of backup files but the file name dates are to old to be the backup that I recently made. I was looking in /var/lib/asterisk/backups/
So my question is where does freepbx store the backups, and how can I get them onto my other machine.
Also is it possible to run the piaf install to fix my screw up? Or is it just screwed?
