I'm moving an install of PiaF from one machine to another and I'd like to do a backup and restore to streamline the process.

I've seen the full disk backup, but since I'm dealing with different hardware and the fact that the old box has more more than just PiaF installed, I'd prefer to just backup PiaF.

My searches haven't really turned up anything of value, so I thought I'd throw my question out to the collective here in the hopes that I can get a 1, 2, 3 bullet list of the steps I should take.

Thanks in advance!

In addition to your freepbx configuration, you'll probably want the contents of your /tftpboot/ directory. I'm not sure if the freepbx backup will include any customized dialplan files outside of freepbx (/etc/asterisk/extensions_custom.conf, for example).

Best advice I can give: keep the old machine/hard drive handy so you can pull other needed files while you're bringing up the new machine (and for a few weeks thereafter - that's where the whole disk backup is handy, you can keep it as an offline archive).
