I noticed something today.
I setup the Lenny MOD and added my cell phone. Works great!

I deleted my cell phone, calls goes through, as expected.

I select the Block Unknown/Blocked Caller ID, check box and apply.
Page shows the checkbox and not checked.... hmm weird.

I dial from my cell *67 and my number. Call goes through and shows on my phone display and Unknown.

Am I missing something, or is the Block Unknown/Blocked Caller ID, check box, not actually applying the change?

I'm on Ubuntu 14 32bit, PIAF 12.0.70, Asterisk 13.6.0

Sean,

Check your log file after you try this test again.

My guess is that the inbound call is arriving as 'anonymous', and not 'unknown', so it passes through the screening process.

What, if anything, do you get when you run this command?

Code:
asterisk -rx "database show blacklist blocked"

/blacklist/blocked : 1
1 results found.

I added the new FCC scripts today, so that's why I started playing around with Lenny Mod and looking at blacklists.

MGD4me,

Yes passing as Anonymous.

So then the info in the latest post on nerdvittles.com is incorrect?

"Blocking Anonymous Callers. By default, both scripts block anonymous callers by adding them to your Asterisk Blacklist. If you want to disable this feature, comment out line 37 in both of the scripts before running them"

We had a thread showing how to fix this. Look around.

Yes passing as Anonymous.

You can use the Blacklist module to add an additional catch phrase. Just add an entry for 'anonymous'. Then, double-check the Lenny Blacklist module, and make sure the destination reads "local/53669@from-internal", enable Redirect, and you should be good to go.
