You'd need one of the newest, fastest PI's (like the Pi 4B) to run current releases of Asterisk and FreePBX. You probably could set it up and then move it. You'd have to go into the Settings > Asterisk SIP Settings and make sure the external IP is discovered and that the local LAN is showing. Hopefully, work would have a fixed IP address.
