How can I dial an extension on my second piaf box sitting on the same LAN?

Reason: I have 2 piaf setups. I have a secondary pbx on my LAN (pbx2) with a sound card running a custom music on hold setup, and would like to dial extensions from the primary pbx (pbx1), to extensions on pbx2. Could I forward ext 501 on pbx1 to something like '192.168.1.2\501' where 192.168.1.2 is the IP of pbx2? Then I could dial 501 from a pbx1 phone and reach ext 501 on pbx2.

Thank God for Blanchae. I followed the same instructions

Create an IAX or SIP peer trunk between the two systems, then create an intra-company outbound route on each system to direct the appropriate extension numbers to the other via this new trunk.

I followed details on this page complete with a handy spreadsheet to make it idiot resistant.
