I've got a Sipura 3102 that registers directly with Vitelity, and an analog phone plugged into the Sipura. I'm happy with this very simple configuration for 95% of my calls.
But, sometimes (5%) I'd like to do the following:
1. Bring up PIAF in a VM on my Windows 7 machine.
2. Make an outgoing call that routes through PIAF so that I can do things like record the conversation (e.g. interviewing someone and letting them know the call is being recorded).
So that call needs to route like this:
(a) AnalogPhone->Sipura->PIAF->Vitelity, or possibly:
(b) AnalogPhone->Sipura->PIAF->Sipura->Vitelity
After that call is over, I'll stop PIAF, and would want to be back to doing normal calling like this (with minimal/no effort):
(c) AnalogPhone->Sipura->Vitelity.
Any suggestions on how to approach this?
In (a) above, would that mean multiple registrations with Vitelity? (wonder if they support that?)
In (b), the Sipura would have a lot of work to do (SIP to PIAF, SIP from PIAF, and SIP to Vitelity). Can Sipura 3102 do such a thing?
I suppose an option is to run PIAF all the time and just send all calls through it, but I don't have an extra machine to run it on, and don't really want to run the VM all the time. So I'm looking for a solution where I just bring the VM/PIAF up on a small percentage of my calls.
Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions!
