So I just am installing xivo for raspberry pi on my brand new v3 and am facing something odd. Port knocking is not working for me.

I opened up the usual ports 22, 80, 443, and the three knock ports, but when I knock, no one is home.

Works fine on my Vultr build, but not on this one.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try adjusting the timing of the knocks. Raspberry Pi doesn't have the same performance as Vultr. What does the portknocker log show??

Good point!

Tried 300, 350, 400, 500, 1000, 2000ms but still no one is home. Just for haha's I tried 5000 also. Nope.

Thank you for the suggestion but that is apparently not the issue.

I looked for a log file, but there is nothing in the log. Using PortKnock 3.3 on iOS and I'm on the same external network as the box I am surfing on. I am able to use the same tool to open the Vultr box. If you are asking for the portknocker log on the box, I am not on site presently.

Oh, btw, the app gives me a SUCCESS message each time I knock, if that helps.

Not sure what's up.
