We have a PIAF running asterisk 1.4.21.2 with a Digium TE410P quad-span T1/E1/J1. All works well most of the time except, every few days, the server stops communicating with the PRI. The log file shows the following error:

ERROR[23056] chan_zap.c: Asked to delete sched id -1???
ERROR[23056] chan_zap.c: No more room in scheduler

A google search takes us to a place that suggests this is caused by a version of libpri and that an upgrade to the latest version 1.4.10.2. I obtained the latest version and compile it and ... about 8 days later, the same errors show up and the box is cut off from the PRI again.

As a brute force workaround, I have a cron job that bounces the PRI in the dead of night, which seems to work while I try to get to the real root cause.

Anyone have any other ideas on what the real problem might be?

Might be a libpri bug.

See this issue:
https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=15892

Basically, it says to upgrade LibPRI to 1.4.10.2 to resolve the issue.

I am having the same problem on a bi-weekly basis (running libpri-1.4.10.1, asterisk-1.6.1.13, dahdi-2.2.0.2+2.2.0). I have not done the upgrade yet, but will soon. And I will post here as to whether it resolves my problem.

Hi Mudslide,

I would really like to hear from you if your problem has gone away. I am facing the same problem with libpri 1.4.10, Sangoma A101D and was just told to upgrade to 1.4.10.2. As you said that didn't help the problem.

1- Can you please post your cron job so it may help me in the meantime.

2- Can you please let us know if your issue was fixed somehow?

Thanks,
Bruce
