Clean install, but asterisk OFFLINE

I did a clean install, and ran update-scripts and update-fixes, and passwd-master, but now when i go to "status" it syas asterisk and zaptel is offline and the version is unavailable.

bad install - redownload the disk and re-install

Is there a way to do that from the command line, or do I have to reinstall the OS again as well.

Ghurty, is it a Gigabyte motherboard? Check the chipset/Nic combo.

Hi

This could be due to a number of reasons, but the logs could provide more information.

reboot the server, then after a couple of minutes have a look at the /var/log/asterisk/full log - this is accessible via FreePBX, asterisk Log files or by using a text editor at the command line - or just type tail /var/log/asterisk/full

Report the cause of the failure back here, unless the log file clearly gives the problem and you can fix it.
