SOLVED Cloud at Cost Factoid

The console runs on a random high numbered port, not 80 or 443. So if you have a restrictive firewall (like I do here at work) you will be blocked. I can access it just fine from home.

Yeah ditto. Our firewall here is very restrictive, and it doesn't let me access the console. (But, SSH works just fine. )

kenn10, that's interesting. I haven't used it much but I never had a problem firing-up the built-in console available from the control panel. I use Chrome -- I wonder if access is browser-dependent?

You aren't missing much -- it's a very bare-bones implementation. IIRC, cutting and pasting into it is not supported, which made using it a pain (at least for me).

my cloud at cost panel shows 10% disk usage, but df -h shows:

Code:
 df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/VolGroup-lv_root
                      9.0G 4.2G 4.4G 50% /
tmpfs 250M 0 250M 0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1 477M 43M 409M 10% /boot

yes the disk usage bar only checks /dev/sda1

You get what you pay for. This is a BigDog instance -- 8Gigs Ram, 4 CPUs...

Yeah, right. I have another Windows hosting provider. $35/month, ROCK solid with 4 CPUs and 4GB ram -- blows the doors off of these guys.
My Choice is Digital Ocean for cheap hosted PBXs -- for rock-solid production PBXs, RentPBX!
