FOOD FOR THOUGHT confused about asterisk on VM

Just to chime in and add that Ive had great success and no issues in 4 or so years running about 6 PIAF VMs on ESXi. I really enjoy having my PBX's automatically incrementally replicate each night to a second offsite host.. so if the production VM or host goes down, I can simply start the replica and everything is working normally. With incremental replicas it means I can start the VM from any previous recovery point. Back in July one of my production PBX VMs got corrupted to the point where it froze and didnt start properly after a reboot, so I started the replica that was automatically made during the night from the other host. Almost no downtime. I have wanted this to be in place for years, and now I have it. So yes, thumbs up to VMware from me.

So basicly, if there are no new prepared images, I could install the default recent image on it just as any linux right ?
