Now, and not to be OT, but being vaccinated (perhaps with a booster shot if needed after Pfizer's recommended time period) and assuming that they will be FDA approved on Monday (here in the states) , then you will be better protected and lose the argument that it is experimental (unlike the still experimental and expensive monoclonal therapy).

As I noted, 'the truth will out' , but mask's are still recommended especially if you have kids but even an elbow is better than no mask, an n95 is better than a $0.25 mask, but most of all "Please don't listen to those who definitely fit in George Carlin's other 50%"

Long haul Covid19 is not nice ( I know a couple of such) . Short haul Covid19 is fatal to a significant number 4,434,986 so far (I knew a couple of those also)

it is very interesting how some people demand 100% guarantees in medicine and especially with COVID vaccine, there is no such thing, medicine is way more complicated than anything else, we are over simplify it in order to make some progress.
In technology, lets say VOIP, you would laugh if any vendor will guarantee 100% it will work flawlessly from the very first install, no future tinkering and no future updates ever to the end of time. Heck we make those things and still are not perfect.
I can bet you in 20-30 years from now when dust settles, another generation will shake their head and wonder, what in the world people resistant to COVID precautions and vaccinations were thinking. The real science is more and more strong in favor of those precautions and vaccines.
Deniers are experiencing well known psychological phenomena's. Cognitive Dissonance and Confirmation Bias and this is very easy to experience when anyone can publish any crazy ideas on the internet. It is hard for some people to recognize and acknowledge they were wrong. It takes balls to do that. Of course deniers will point out at the scientist who made wrong assumptions at the beginning of COVID pandemic and later they change their minds because evidence pointed to a different direction. COVID deniers point out those early failures, In truth we did not know and we needed evidence, as evidence started to mount we changed direction, this is how progress happens.
Deniers whatever crazy idea they have will find a fellow on the internet who will confirm it and voila this somehow becomes an irrefutable fact for those people.
There are so many unproven crazy treatments proposed by those deniers and somehow they will take those truly unproved/unstudied treatments and somehow they completely forget those are experimental at best and point the finger to the vaccine calling it experimental. I would hardly call it an experimental vaccine after it has been administrated to about 200 millions here in the US and some people involved in the clinical trials had it for about one year already.

As with most issues in our badly divided country, there seems to be no compromise of thought on the COVID issues. Probably best to drop the politics, close this topic and move on. Let's get back to VOIP issues and discussion.
