Friday is July 4th, Independence Day for those of us in the US. and I was curious how people programmed their systems to handle holidays when offices are closed.

I just manually adjusted our time conditions to keep the phones off tomorrow, but I'm sure there are better ways of handling this.

You can set a time condition for every 4th of July, or you can use the day night control.

I have a customer (apt. complex) that has a normal business hours setting that hits a ring group then falls to the main office voice mail, and after hours settings that hit a multi-option IVR, and they wanted the system set to go to after hours at different times depending on the day of the week, plus they have winter and summer schedules, PLUS they wanted all the national holidays set to after hours :) It took awhile to get the sequencing of time conditions right, but I got all that working. I prefer a "negative" logic using time conditions, i.e. the phones in the office only ring when none of the time conditions match, otherwise they go to the IVR. YMMV

Cheers,
Mike
