I am looking for someone willing to set up a custom Ivr for my system that would basically look up the callers CID on a database on my system and announce it over Icom to extension selected.

If CID is not in database or not available the Ivr would query caller for his name and announce that over Icom.

anyone interessted?
 
Where does the caller sit durring the announcement process and what brand of phone
 
Thre would be about 10 Aastra 57i phones.

The idea is that the anouncement would go over all phones and place the call in a queue and have any of the phones be able to pick up call.
 
Okay I will try to find time to do this but don't hold your breath too long because I am not sure when I will find said time. I will post my basic thought on the steps if some one wants to pick this up in exchange for a donation to the project. If I do it of course I would expect you to send whatever $$ to the project as well. My guess on dev time for this is 1-3 hours so the donation should probably be equivalent to the PIAF project should reflect that....

Dialplan is probably 10 lines or so main work will lay in the AGI...

For proper development please give a sample table structure and type from your database.

Please advise if the assumptions of call flow are incorrect.

FWIW: The new Nerd Vittles ODBC tutorial will save you many, many lines of custom coding if you are searching for unique values (which CallerIDs normally are) in any ODBC database. It also now is an included component in the Orgasmatron installer.

also your call flow is correct. The only thing that I was thinking is if CID info is not available at all, is it possible to have the caller speak his name and the system records it and plays that back over intercom?
