Delay in hearing + Zap not hanging up

Hi All,

Recently installed PBXinaFLASH v1.1. Everything seems to be fine except for a few things. Noticed that one of the zap channels (there is 5 pstn connections) didn't hang up for long time after the conversation was over. Secondly, when we dial out, the other side can not hear us until 2 or 3 seconds is passed. Any suggestion?

Using Sangoma A200 with 4 FXO modules (total of 8 fxo ports; only 5 are in use though)

Hi

This is one of the major problems of zaptel analogue cards, and more prevelant in some countries than others.

What country are you in. I would suggest searching google, using your country as a keyword as well as sat TDM400 (I know that you are using a sangoma, but the fix may be similar)

There are plenty of different ways of forcing a hangup supplied by Asterisk, but it is difficult to advise which one will suit your needs.

If it is only one of the zap channels, you may also try swapping the cable with a known good channel, and seeing if the problem moves. This will tell you whether the problem lies with the card or the line.

Thanks for the input. This is not a hangup problem. When a call is established the other party can not hear me for 3 seconds. The same sangoma card, with the same PC hardware and Trixbox has worked perfectly. I am sure it's something in the config files that is different from Trixbox to PBXinaFlash that is causing this or maybe driver issue...

Any suggestions?

Correction to my last post: Zap hangup is a problem but not that big of a deal yet since it has occured only two times so far. Thanks
