Dell Vostro 220

I actually just bought one for a paying Vista <shudder> project. I looked at the specs and there are a few odd hardware devices that may not be supported such as the intel HD audio and perhaps the nic card. Other than that it is a great machine. Once the job is done I will be porting it over to FC10

I know some people were trying them out for untangle and ran into a few driver issues.
Why not just get a t100 ?

On a side note , I love the vostro's for desktops !

I live in canada and we don't get that awesome $299 deal for the T100 up here. The T100 starts at $689 (lower specs aswell!) on the canadian website. Us canuckleheads always getting the shaft....

Maybe we'll seize shipments of the Aastra phones until Dell starts giving us the same deals

I have one of these and had to put a d-link 530t in to make it work. But so far, it seems to work with all the rest of the stuff.

Anyone have any luck getting the on board Nic working?

See this thread. I think these machines use the Realtek R8169 driver which has been quirky to say the least.
