Dhcp question

I hope this isn't too dumb a question, but can we use the "next server" directive in DHCPD.conf and still have pbiaf do all its wonderful things with provisioning phones?

Am very curious.

I want to try it so I can leave my router handing out addresses to keep peace at home if my phone system goes down....

Sorry. You can't do that. One DHCP server per subnet. Problem is that your hardware router doesn't know NOT to hand out addresses to the phones. Hold off a couple weeks, and we should have a new version of the Aastra autoconfig that doesn't require a DHCP server.
