I've been messing with this for about a week now. Googling, all sorts of trials and errors...

I setup my teleyapper with option 0. The only way that I could my called patients to get to a hold of us was to have the 0 extention which was set to dial an extention 1000 which had a follow me with all 3 phones on it. The follow me is set to ringall. I've also tried hunt and some other options. The problem that i'm having is that if one nurse isn't able to pick up.. it just rings and finally disconnects the patient. (i have voicemail setup as the follow me fail.. which it isn't doing). I can't use exten => dial(SIP/ringgroup).. it seems like it won't dial an extention that doesn't have a real phone attached to it. I also tried making a que, and having it dial into the que.. but it will just disconnect you. In asterisk it shows the other phones gave a sip response of 486 "Busy".. when they're not. Is this what is keeping the ringall from working.. or the hunt?

Has anyone ran into phone not passing the calls to another phone? I was thinking i'd just teach the nurses how to use *8,... but that's not working either, and really isn't a great option. Any help would be much appreciated.

actually.
Just FYI

Don't try to be a big shot and put two network cards in and try to have it where you can access the server from a differnt network than what the phones are on.
It creates this problem.

I had the same problem with a different situation. Create the extension as a type OTHER and then use the follow-me. It worked for me.

Hi

How about making a ring group with the three phones in it, and give the ring group a number of 1000?
