Dial status display on aastra?

I'm running the Aastra-xml scripts version 2.2.0 with the patch and it's working perfectly, everyone loves it. I wrote a windows app for the receptionist to see everyone's status at a glance and she's happy too.

The biggest question I keep getting is when they call internal extensions, they want to see that the user is on the phone, not "available" like their away status states. They used to have this on the Nortel system we recently dumped.

I'm sure we can tweak the php scripts somehow to display to the internal caller that the person is on the phone.

Anybody done this before?

Do you care to share the app you wrote to monitor the status' ?

It's not ready for production. I'm thinking about releasing it later on when I have the time to write a configuration screen for it.

Here is a screenshot. It's a c# app I threw together for the receptionist. No eye candy, just plain and simple.
