FYI DIG Problem with IPCHECKER

I know there was a thread on this marked SOLVED, but I have the problem despite compliance of my files with the indicated resolution.

I have prepared and attached a document showing the results of running IPCHECKER, For those failures that are hosts the DNS entries for which are within my control, I have printed the contents of the .IPTABLES file as well as the results of a manual DIG. In all cases the DIG shows NOERROR for status, yet IPCHECKER is reporting a DIG FAILURE.

Any help to resolve this issue will be appreciated.

You're reading the output wrong. The errors appear before the "Account bleh.iptables OK" line.
As exemplified by the first few lines and the first few errors of your sample output:

Ooops. aegis.iptables not found.
Account aegis.iptables OK
Account aphrodite.iptables OK
Ooops. artemis.iptables not found.
Account artemis.iptables OK

The script is surely not reversing halfway and printing the dig errors after the account identifier further down, but it's what you're assuming based on the dig results you supplied as evidence that ipchecker's DIG fails where the manual DIG succeed...

Sorry you are not focussed on the specific problems I raised. I raised a question about the paparently erroneous DIG errors, not the missing IPTABLES files (about which I know).

no, you're not following me...

the errors appear before the account entry that they reference. so you are manually doing dig against the wrong accounts.

manually dig the account that follows the dig errors in the output and you'll get the dig errors.
